Takehome Cash is a free calculator for US W-2 employees who want a 2026 take-home estimate: federal income tax, Social Security, Medicare, and a simplified state wage-tax model for 50 states plus DC.

The math runs in your browser. There is no account and no advertising code in this version. Numbers are estimates, not a filing product.

Federal figures follow IRS Revenue Procedure 2025-32. FICA uses the SSA 2026 wage base of $184,500. State rates follow the Tax Foundation 2026 compilation of state statutes.
